Assistant Editor - Chemistry and Environmental Science

Future Science specializes in the publication of high-quality commentary and analysis in today's key areas of research endeavor including Medicinal Chemistry, Bioanalysis and Biofuels.

Do you have an interest in environmental science or chemistry as well as a passion for science communication? We have created a new position for a trainee Assistant Editor to join our dynamic Editorial team. This position is a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to establish a career in science publishing.

This varied role will allow you to experience all spects of the editorial process, specifically:

• The opportunity to work with the latest information across a broad range of areas including environmental science, chemistry and bioanalysis
• Responsibility for ensuring the quality and consistency of the journals
• Liaison with leading international researchers
• Involvement in the creative direction and development of key titles

No previous editorial experience is necessary as full training will be provided, with objectives set o encourage career progression. An understanding of the importance of scheduling and the ability to work to strict deadlines is essential.
The role is based in our North London offices, conveniently located close to Finchley Central tube station on the northern line.
